Excluding my signature, canvas edges and sealing, this 20x30” canvas is COMPLETE. How do I possibly put to words how proud I am to have finished a painting? I can’t. I just can’t. All my buzzy energy is jumping back into one of the other thirteen partially completed works.

Hopefully this weekend will bring the end of a few more paintings, so I can pitch myself to the walls of Knead Bakery that opened a few months back in Scituate. Have you tried it? The gluten free strawberry muffins and brownies are everything I could have dreamed of. The food selection in Nashville is certainly something I miss. Lately I’ve been craving True Food. That void is being filled with pickles. A food I rarely ate because my mom didn’t like them. Recently, I ventured for some on sandwiches and now I personally consume one twenty-four ounce jar every week. If you have pickle recommendations, please send them my way. PS, in the last week I’ve consumed many podcasts about Munchausen Syndrome and Munchausen By Proxy, also known as Fictitious Disorder (shout out med student sister!), which is most definitely something my mom suffers from. Super interesting stuff there, which I’m eager to start writing about. I think my first step is getting copies of all my medical records. Two cases of made up chicken pox can’t be the only thing she lied about. That reminds me I keep forgetting to schedule my vaccine (sorry, med student sister!)
